10/31/2023 0 Comments Capitalism ii gameplay![]() ![]() Under capitalism, the investors of an enterprise have full control over that enterprise, and people are able to freely sell their labor. The very idea that socialism can be compared to capitalism in any way is goofy amongst every single political ideology. ![]() "Class collaboration" in corporatism amounts to a brutal suppression of opposition to the bourgeois class, disguised behind a wave of propaganda and manipulation as "equality" among the two classes when it is apparent to anyone that there is no class collaboration under fascism. Socialism is built on the very principle of anti-capitalism, that being the rejection of the means of production belonging to a private group or a singular individual and the restructuring of the economy based on a meritocratic, workers-based system.įascism itself is capitalism in decay because corporatism is nothing more than a violently forceful form of capitalism, where the "dictatorship of the bourgeoise" is taken to its extremes and opposition against the ruling minority class is ruthlessly suppressed. Socialism is not capitalism in any way whatsoever. But that would only work in small-scale groups anyways. Either that or you need to embrace a really primitive tribal idea about labor, which is that only the bare minimum should be performed. ![]() If you want a system where there is no rat race, you have to return to the idea that menial labor needs to be induced - which is the logic of serfdom and slavery. So fascism and socialism at least redistribute the spoils of the rat race to some extent. The difference is, fascism (like socialism) suggests that increased efficiency and production should serve a specific group (national or racial, or in socialism's case, the workers), whereas liberal capitalism's increased efficiency benefits those with capital. All modernistic ideologies are based on ideals of efficiency, increased production/consumption, and progress. ![]() "If you are looking for freedom from arbitrary rules and the rat race of capitalism, fascism is not your ideology" It modifies capitalism significantly enough where it can be considered separately from liberal capitalism. That doesn't mean socialism doesn't change things. Ok, this is meaningless - socialism is still capitalism (or is based on fundamentally capitalist logic).
